So, I was late on getting to the theater to spend my hard earned $$ to see Spiderman 3. THANK GOD I didn't spend $9 on this piece of crap! It sux'd and totally ruined Spiderman for me. It was beyond gay (Sat. night fever walk?) and had a ridiculous ending. I don't even want to go back and see 1 or 2 again because 3 was such garbage. Glad I only shelled out $2 at the cheaps seats. Good luck w/ this brillant plan Sony.

On another semi-related note: Does anyone know if there is a spectator mode in multiplayer?? Like a full blown 'I'm just gonna watch style spectator'; not the 'waiting to respawn' stuff.
I stopped by a local Gamestop this morning (10AM, EST, Aug 24) and they have this game in stock (360 version at least). Although, they only had enough to satisfy the pre-orders. Really poor launch plan on this one....
Bioshock has been keeping me up late for 2 nights now...but my love for Halo (and beer) will never die. Both games are (and will be) awesome! You can debate crap like this all day - but when it comes down to it, I'm a happy 360 owner!
On a side note - my buddies 360 RRoD last night and he's got just 4 weeks to get it back in time for Halo 3!! No Bioshock for him....
I picked mine up at Best Buy and they had plenty. I also made them price match CCity's ad so I could get the 'rewards' points.
The game is awesome, I spent 4 hours last night slowly wandering through the game. There's a lot to take in for those who are interested in that sort of thing. Seems to be a plenty of things you'd miss by running through. Excellent game, no matter how you 'splice' it!

They've blown their chances for the 360. Too bad, they had some potential. But now that we have Bioshock, not to mention about a month out for Halo 3; this game doesn't stand much of a chance to compete. I was looking forward to picking this title up, in early/mid August...when it was supposed to launch...to fill that summer void. I would be venture to guess I wasn't the only one.

I just went to Toys R Us and Target. TRU just said, have to wait to the 21st, which made me think that it was there. And the old guy at Target basically said "putting it on the shelf before the release date was a big no-no". So, no luck.
Hey ya, there is a coupon for 20% off any 1 item at Toys R Us. I just printed it and am heading there at lunch! I'm hoping to luck out here and get Bioshock early, plus save 20%!!!! Coupon is only good till 8/18, so the 'official' release date is not good.
I bought this yesterday and didn't even take the wrapper off last night because I was too busy w/ Halo 3 still...Matchmaking and Campaign. However, I can't wait to tear into all goodies O.B. has to offer. It looks like the reviews are very good for this package, as expected. Now the only problem is finding the time to play this, Halo 3, get back to finishing Bioshock on Hard...then pick up Mass Effect in Novemeber...Geez. I need more free time! I need more gaming $$! Too many good game...
